Hamburg - Ev. luth. Diakonissen-Mutterhaus Hamburg e.V.

In 2004, the sisterhood of the former Deaconess House in Hamburg-Volksdorf became legally independent and founded the Ev.-Luth. Diakonissen-Mutterhaus Hamburg e.V. (Evangelical Lutheran Deaconess Mother House Association) for this purpose. The old fields of activity have been transferred to other diaconal institutions.

The Sisterhood lives in retirement on the premises of the Protestant Foundation Anscharhöhe in Hamburg-Eppendorf and is there active in the St. Anschar Church community within their bounds of possibility.
