Wiesbaden – Diakoniegemeinschaft Paulinenstift

The Diaconal Community Paulinenstift was founded in 1857. From the beginning, the focus of the work was on nursing the elderly and the sick and care for children and young adults. The Deaconess Mother House Wiesbaden was built in 1896. In the course of the decades, they trained hundreds of deaconesses who carried the work of the foundation through branch establishments into the Nassauer Land.

The foundation operated hospitals and / or nursing homes for elderly people in Wiesbaden, Nastätten, Kirberg, Marienberg and Eppstein. In the course of the past decades, due to the abandonment of the active fields of activity, the Diakoniegemeinschaft Paulinenstift was transformed into a purely promotional foundation. Ever since, the revenues from the property of the foundation have been used to support or counsel other facilities with the same goals.
