Hanover - Diakovere – Deaconess Mother House Henriettenstiftung

The Henriettenstiftung was founded in 1860 as a Deaconess Mother House with a hospital. Facilities for geriatric care were soon added and also extensive work in about 200 community care stations as well as the bakery for wafers and the parament workshop.

Today, the work is continued in a maximum care hospital with about 600 beds and in several facilities for geriatric care (including special care) with about 400 beds. In addition to this, there is a section for training and further education, which is promoted in a holding company together with the other partners Annastift and Friederikenstift.
The Henriettenstiftung is responsible for and particularly promotes diaconal spiritual work.

Today, the Deaconess Mother House Henriettenstiftung is part of Diakovere, a non-profit enterprise for health and social services.
