Teltow – Evangelisches Diakonissenhaus Berlin Teltow Lehnin

The E Protestant Deaconess House Berlin Teltow Lehnin (EDBTL) is a diaconal association of companies with a long tradition.

EDBTL includes the Deaconess House in Teltow (built in 1901 in Teltow), the Deaconess Mother House Luise-Henriette in Lehnin (revival of the compound of the former Cistercian Monastery with diaconal work) and the Deaconess House Lutherstift in Frankfurt/Oder (construction of a hospital for the people of the town).

Focal points of the work are health care, geriatric care, offers for people with disabilities and the educational sector. The Protestant service for fellow humans is equally directed towards to body and soul. Besides Teltow, Lehnin and Berlin, the regional focal points include the Oder Region with Frankfurt/ Oder as well as Seelow, Luckau, Ludwigsfelde and Lauchhammer.

The preamble of the statute states: "We follow the order of Jesus Christ, to bring God's mercy to the people near and far in word and deed."

The religious communities consider this their mission and want to contribute to reaching this goal.
